Your best photos of your Affens are needed for the 2011 Affenpinscher Calendar which will be sold again this year to raise money to support Affen Rescue efforts. The same publisher as last year will be doing our 2011 calendar and we are really excited! She has many great ideas to include more pictures so more people can show off their Affens! You can send as many photos as you like- Affens can be at work or at play, in costume or enjoying the seasons or the holidays! There is no charge for submitting photos. Here is the scoop on sending your photos: If you want to submit copyright photo(s) please be sure to send a copyright release signed by the photographer owning the copyright. No humans in the photos. The photo can have one or more Affens but no other dog breeds- other animal species are allowed; however, just Affens are preferred Photos should be full color and of good quality and with good contrast. They can be scanned (minimum 300 dpi, jpg format and higher is preferred - the higher the better!) Same with digital photos - the higher the resolution the better and jpg format. You may send a hard copy of the photo if you want. For each entry please include the registered name and call name of the Affen(s), any title(s) if appropriate, whether the Affen(s) is a Rescue and if you want your name included. All entries should have the name of the owner submitting the photo(s), a contact telephone number or email address and /or address of for the owner . Entries should be submitted to: Affen1@verizon.net or snail mail Affen Calendar,330 Whittier Street, Highland Village, TX 75077. All photos should be submitted by March 17, 2010. Our calendar publisher will judge the entries and will decide which photos will appear in the calendar. As always they will strive to have a balance of rescued, show, performance and pet Affens. The 2011 Affen Calendar will be on sale at the 2010 National Specialty over the Memorial Day Weekend in Virginia and on the Affen Rescue website after the National Specialty.
