The 2021 Affenpinscher Club of America National Specialty will be held in Oklahoma City in conjunction with the Summer Canine Olympics cluster. Details on the cluster can be found at their web site (, or on their Facebook page under SummerClassicCanineOlympics The Cluster is comprised of the OKC KC, Mid-Del Tinker KC, and Lawton Dog Fanciers.

The shows will be held Wednesday, June 30 through Sunday, July 4, 2021 in at the Bennett Event Center on the OK State Fairgrounds. There is extensive onsite parking and RV parking. There will be an Affen grooming area near our ring.

The Cluster currently plans to hold five all breed shows and during normal times they also hold Agility, Obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt, Weight Pulling, Lure Coursing and Dock Diving and well as numerous health clinics. Keep an eye on the AKC web site for event information as nothing has as yet been posted, but we are hoping that all will go as planned, Covid not withstanding.

The ACA supported shows will be Friday and Sunday.  The annual meeting and specialty will be Saturday, July 3rd, with Mrs. Helen Stein judging breed.

Host hotel is the Best Western Plus Saddleback Inn and Conference Center, offering complimentary full hot breakfast buffet (Covid permitting), with microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers in all rooms. There is a full-service restaurant and the Rustler’s Saloon on the premises, with room service available. A free airport shuttle is also available. Oklahoma City is served by the Will Rogers World Airport (code OKC) which is 7 minutes to the hotel and 14 minutes to the show site. American, Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, Frontier, Southwest and United all fly into OKC. Oklahoma City is at the crossroads of three major interstates – I-40, I-44, and I-35 – to make driving easy.
